FREE Newfoundland and Labrador Class 4 Licence Test

In Newfoundland and Labrador (NL), all aspiring commercial drivers must obtain a Class 4 licence before they may drive taxis, ambulances, or buses carrying up to 24 passengers. To obtain this licence, you must be 19 or older, hold a valid Class 5 driver's licence for at least one year, undergo a medical examination, pass a written knowledge test specific to Class 4 vehicles, and complete a road test. Digital Government and Service NL implements these requirements to ensure that only the most capable students can operate commercial vehicles.

As you begin your learning phase, you should study the official NL commercial driver’s handbook. Please read its contents at least once, and when you're ready, use our NL Class 4 practice test to evaluate your knowledge. This intuitive tool has been designed to closely reflect the content and format of the official exam and adds flexibility to your study routine. You get unlimited attempts and nonstop access to train as often as you want. Since there is no time limit to pressure you, please avoid rushing and only select an answer when you're confident in your choice.

Our helpful automated assistant can explain the most complex aspects of commercial driving theory. Since it is present during every training session, you can initiate a conversation at any time and benefit from personalized help. Ask for hints whenever you're stuck on a difficult question or request a real-life example to help you understand the reasoning behind the correct answer.

Students with auditory memory greatly benefit from the voice-over function, which uses an artificial voice to read the questions and answer choices aloud. Use it to increase your focus and improve your retention rate.

Becoming a safe and responsible commercial driver takes time and effort. With the right tools, your dream career is within reach. Our NL Class 4 licence practice test can be a game changer for students struggling with understanding commercial driving theory, as it uses several educational features that are more efficient than traditional study methods.
