When you drive a truck in Nova Scotia, you need to have a commercial truck driver’s licence. In Nova Scotia, the transportation sector is booming, and the truck drivers become highly sought after. The job market for truck drivers is good, with a significant number of drivers working full time and having a secure job​.

To get your licence, it is necessary to pass both a written and a practical test.
