The Saskatchewan Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) program for first-time learner drivers has six stages. First you need to get a Class 7 learner’s licence. That involves passing three tests: two knowledge tests (a written exam and a road sign exam), and a vision test. Both knowledge tests are computer-based and test your understanding of the rules of the road and the road signs. Both tests are based on the Saskatchewan Driver's Hanbook. The passing grade for both is 80%, and each costs $25 every time you take them. If you've passed both knowledge tests and cleared the vision test, you'll get your Class 7 learner’s licence. Our practice tests are designed to help you prepare for both knowledge tests.
