FREE Alberta Class 4 Licence Knowledge Exam Practice Test

In Alberta, a Class 4 licence allows you to drive taxis, rideshare vehicles, ambulances, and small buses (up to 24 passengers, including the driver). To obtain a Class 4 licence, applicants must be at least 18, pass a medical exam, submit a completed Driver's Medical Report Form, pass the Alberta Class 4 knowledge exam, and pass a road test specific to Class 4 vehicles. The official written test has 30 multiple-choice questions based on the official Alberta Commercial Driver's Guide. To pass, you must answer at least 25 questions (83%) correctly, which leaves little room for error.

Our Alberta Class 4 Licence Knowledge Practice Test has been designed with efficiency in mind. This intuitive tool adds flexibility to your study sessions, allowing you to practice anytime, anywhere in the world. All you need is a compatible device and a stable internet connection. Beginners who are unfamiliar with operating Class 4 vehicles should ignore their scores and focus on increasing their knowledge instead. We provide a detailed explanation for every question, allowing you to learn from your mistakes as soon as they occur. Please note this feedback down in a notebook or notebook app and revisit the material during future practice sessions.

Keep track of your progress with the test overview on the left side of the page. This feature updates in real time, giving you insight into your performance. Each question you've gotten right will turn green, while those you've answered wrong are coloured red. You can wipe your current progress and begin a new session at any time by using the “Restart” button. Use it whenever you want to try a different approach and rebuild your confidence after a disappointing attempt.

Becoming a safe and responsible driver takes time and effort. As you begin your learning phase, you should avoid rushing through this process and gradually increase your knowledge over the next few weeks. Incorporate this practice test into your study sessions and learn driving theory through repetition. Since you get unlimited attempts and nonstop access, there’s no limit to how often you can study with this intuitive tool.
