Ontario G1 Road Rules Practice Test
- Perfect for learner’s permit and full adult driver’s licence
- Based on official Ontario 2024 Driver's manual
- Triple-checked for accuracy
- Updated for October 2024
This Ontario G1 practice test is for those learners who already feel comfortable with road signs, and would only like to practice the rules of the road section of the test. It contains multiple choice questions about Ontario road rules. All the questions are based on the official Ontario Driver’s Handbook provided by MTO, so you can be sure you’re practicing this year’s questions. The official G1 written knowledge test for Ontario is divided into two sections of 20 multiple-choice questions: roads signs and rules of the road. To pass each section, you must get at least 16 questions correct. To take your test, you’ll need to pass an eye exam and pay a $158.25 test package fee, which will cover your initial knowledge test, and the driving test for your G2 licence. If you need to take the knowledge test again, it is an extra $15.75. Questions about rules of the road are pulled from the 2024 Drivers Handbook and will cover driving scenarios to ensure you are a safe driver. Questions will range from what to do in an accident, to proper etiquette for merging and passing, as well as restrictions for each licence level. This practice test will help make sure you can ace the road rules section of your G1 test.
